Derimod Sales Ops is a next-generation mobile platform that allows in-store sales advisors to manage customer interactions, inventory checks and sales processes from one unified app.
By consolidating workflows previously scattered across different systems, the platform gives field teams a faster, more integrated and error-free operational experience.
Critical tasks such as creating loyalty accounts, checking stock, calculating campaign prices, managing virtual sales and tracking performance are handled on a single screen with significantly improved speed.
At Echo Studio, our mission was to design a modern, reliable and simplified mobile experience for store teams working in high-pressure retail environments. The final product delivers instant customer insight, full inventory visibility and personal goal tracking, which collectively enhance in-store operations.

Although Derimod had a strong operational structure in place, the increasing number of stores and the rise of modern shopping expectations created a need for a more digital, integrated and mobile-first approach.
Sales advisors needed instant access to customer details, stock information and campaign rules. The in-store flow also needed to become simpler and more aligned with contemporary shopping behavior.
In response, Derimod initiated the development of a comprehensive mobile application that would provide real-time data to store staff, speed up sales processes and support the new virtual sales model.

The project began with an in-depth discovery phase conducted together with the Derimod team.
We observed daily advisor workflows, mapped customer touchpoints and identified recurring operational challenges. These insights shaped the foundation of the product strategy.
To bring the virtual sales model to the core of the experience, we designed a strong smart-cart architecture. Advisors needed the ability to combine in-store items and out-of-stock products in a single cart and process them through one seamless payment flow. This was a key requirement for both speed and accuracy.
Field observations revealed that advisors often interact with the same customer multiple times throughout the day. To support this behavior, we introduced daily customer baskets. The app recognizes returning customers, remembers their previous selections and speeds up repeat scenarios, creating a more personalized experience.
All flows were validated through wireframe testing across different customer types such as first-time visitors, returning shoppers and loyalty members. Each iteration was reviewed with Derimod teams and refined to fully match the expectations of field staff.
